Ah, didn't realise Asari were excepted, and Liara T'soni would proably make an excellent addition Certainly help us when we enter a new town, though I'm sure I'm going to have to act "in lovE2 for a short while Maybe Rav could allow me to take a Intelligence check when we first meet?

Having never played Mass Effect, I'm afraid that reference is lost on me. All I know about Mass Effect is a few bits I looked up for that RP that was on 2S ages ago.
That works, especially since I'm likely to try to snap you out of it so that we can have a proper conversation. Or we could just meet shortly before the start and you can claim you got over it already.

Asari are the all female species in ME who are renowned for their beauty and "Biotics" (aka Psychic magic). Liara is a Asari who takes over a huge organisation of Information dealers This Mass Effect wiki can give you more details if you'd like: masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_WikiHow about I roll, and if I fail your character justs slaps him quickly. Either way my character isn't enamored, and we can just roll right on.

Liara is a Asari who takes over a huge organisation of Information dealers This Mass Effect wiki can give you more details if you'd like: masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_WikiI was just browsing the old RP, reminiscing about the fun political drama you get when the Asari, the Geth and Cerberus are the three council races. I never did find out who tried to assasinate me. Hey, you know what could be fun? An RP set in Firma, where we take on the roles of various political leaders. We already saw some tension between Cyven and Darrow as I recall. Diplomacy and politics can be great fun. How about I roll, and if I fail your character justs slaps him quickly. Either way my character isn't enamored, and we can just roll right on. Works for me. Incidentally, I'm pretty sure my power would affect both sexes [citation needed], and doesn't have to make them love me in a sexual way. Different people would be affected in different ways (lover, best friend, mother/sister/daughter, etc.)

Oh yeah, Drives. I completely forgot about those.
Force of Will: Aliss is strong headed, and as a Grey Mage, her magickal strength comes from her will power, sometimes pushing her powers to dangerous heights.
More than you bargained for: Aliss is more than happy to be given tasks to do. But as is her way, she will generally use her own methods which might be a little more. . .energetic. . .than the asker was expecting.

Ooh, good point. I'll update my character sheet and post here shortly Quickly put them together. The first one was tricky to think of a name for. May sound obvious but if felt the most natural with my characters backstory. The Second doubles as some character building Of course if anyone thiks these are daft, i'll have to look over them again Drives:Will Die a Heroes Death: Jason will never actively allow himself to die from a petty injury. He would prefer to die at the hands of a skilled opponent, or staling a monster to allow others to escape. Never Waste What isn't Broken: Jason will do his best to find any of his enmeshed arrows after a fight where he's used them. Maybe he's a bit of a hoarder, but his other would always tell him that objects can always be used, and even if they're broken, they just need to find different uses.

China's drives: I do what I must to get the things that I want: China desires influence and wealth, and enjoys collecting rare and valuable items. She has absolutely no scruples about how she gets them either; taking advantage of peoples emotions is a common occurence for her.
Live to fight another day: China will never engage in a last stand. If she is outmatched, she will flee. If she can't flee, she will surrender. She will do anything to save her own life, and will not sacrifice herself for anyone. That said, she has her pride and would not allow herself to remain in someone else's power for longer than absolutely necessary.

So once we have Mkolls and TDs characters, will that be enough for us to make a start on this? Hopefully one of them will take some form of healer role. Or outright Tank.

Need to wait for Rav to OK them onto the forum once they've setup their accounts Speaking of Rav. I was wondering it is was possible to cover my hands in magical fire? Aside from maybe a Dagger my character doesn't really have any other weapons training, so punching would probably be their second mode of attack

There's technically enough of you to make a start now, but I'm being polite waiting for the others. Need to wait for Rav to OK them onto the forum once they've setup their accounts Speaking of Rav. Aside from maybe a Dagger my character doesn't really have any other weapons training, so punching would probably be their second mode of attack Mkoll's account is done, but TD hasn't even signed up yet. Something about not having access to a PC… As to your second point… no. Also, a dagger should be sufficient if everyone else is doing their job. Mostly…

I'm torn on my character choice at the moment. Not sure whether to play a similar role to what I did last time or to play more of a tinkerer/creator tank combo (depending on stats of course)

Artificer Tank would be most helpful out of the two. And potentially the most fun and entertaining if you can get creative with the parameters.

Then it would just be a healer and we hae a somewhat ok group Now that I've said that, I'm sure TD is going to be some sort of double agent now

Gentelemen, you have a tank. Physical: 7 Intellect: 10 Talent:10 Age: 26 Wealth: The Domor family are wealthy, but they are not rich. They have made a strong business selling arms and armour, and more recently occasional explosives, but they were appointed their nobility relatively recently. In a spree of attacks on Wulfstead and surrounding villages and caravans from bandits and other threats, which took place only a few generations ago, the Domor business gave 1 weapon and 1 set of armour to each household as a gift. They weren't masterpieces, far from it, but they were serviceable, they gave the villagers a chance and that was all that was needed. With renewed hope several traps were laid and the threat diminished until at last things had returned to normal levels. For their generosity the Domor family found themselves held in very high esteem and business boomed. Not only locally, but even as far as distant Hirikash, the Domor name was known and demand for their arms grew as people wanted blades from those who had inspired "mere peasants and farmers" to protect what was theirs. Equipment: "Master-crafted" Full plate (including helm) sword and shield, daggers, pistol, grenades. "Master-crafted" Full plate - Bestowed upon him at the age of 19 this armour was forged by the finest craftsman of the Domor Armourers company. Perfectly tailored to fit Murtan the armour is thin, almost laughably so, and to look at it one would not expect it to turn a blow, however such is the skill it is crafted with that it is even more resistant than the more orthodox suits of full plate. (basic idea is it's better than normal but not all singing, all dancing. More like the armour Heath Ledger has made in A Knight's Tale than Power Armour ) Backstory: Born the third son to the noble family of Wulfstead, Murtan was trained from an early age in combat. He knew it was unlikely, as his brothers had lived through infancy, that he would take control over the family business and set his sights on defending the village instead. Like his brothers before him he was trained in combat by Elim Caober, a skilled veteran. When not in combat training Murtan focussed a lot on the family business, smithing and crafting. Not the running of it, that was an education reserved for his elder brothers, but the actual craft itself. He learned how to make swords and daggers, shields and armour. They were poor things at first, useful only for training at best, or examples of how not to do it, but over time he perfected his craft. To acknowledge his prowess as a craftsmen, at the age of 19 the company's finest artisan bestowed upon him a suit of armour perfectly fitted for him and announced he at last had the skill and the patience to learn the art of the final craft his family's business was involved in. Explosives. It was a small part of the business, the newest formed, and some said that such forces without the limitations of magick were dangerous, even blasphemous, but the need was there for these devices, to protect not only Wulfstead, but other small settlements as well and so his family continued to produce them and eventually Murtan became, if not a master, then certainly a proficient craftsman of a range of explosive devices. Description will come later though I may simply take Narric's suggestion and point to my avatar.

You dare to craft explosive devices without the blessing of the Lord of Fire and Stone? Such heresy shall not be tolerated! And do you have drives to add to that? Something along the lines of Technology Marches On or something?

Explosives are relatively new to the family trade, as such we still worship Nyrvan, god of Artifice, exclusively. Drives will be added later, but my character is a traditional craftsman rather than progressive. Hand crafted > mass produced.

Rav, what are the odds that we will have some first aid experience ourselves?
Mkoll has be growing up in a smithy, I have been in a magickal school, Narric has been a bounty hunter and game hunter, and Mabbz has been a bit of a con artist surviving on her wits.
Presumably we would all be pretty capable when it comes to field medicine? Nothing quite as good as a proper healer of course, but enough to stabilise and keep us alive.
