"I say right," Darius replied.
"Why?"
"Why not?"

Jason subtley took a bronze piece from his money bag. Weighing it up in his hand, he decided tails he'd say left, heads he'd say right. He flicked the coin into the air, catching it with his right hand and slapping it onto the back of his left. He took his hand away to reveal the result to be heads. "I say heads, I mean right, as well" Jason said, somehow stumbling on his words.

Aliss fixing up the ceilingMap LinkCarefully, the group crept under the damaged ceiling. Aliss managed to repair large portions of the roof, but in some areas a full repair would have taken more than half an hour, so she settled for simply holding it in place, reasoning that the parts she did fix would at least keep it safe until it was time for them to leave. Upon reaching the junction, everyone breathed a sigh of relief; this section appeared to be much sturdier. Down the left passageway was another bend; without going down their, it was impossible to say what lay beyond. The right led straight, with the far end obscured by darkness. Aliss stayed put for a moment to keep her magic in place until China and Darius had passed. Once everyone was clear, she released the skeins and hurried back to Murtan. Almost immediately, a rock she had been merely holding broke free and crashed to the ground. This started a chain reaction; in seconds, the entire corridor they had just passed through collapsed. The group stumbled away from the noise and the dust, reaching the end of the corridor. There was an archway beyond which lay a moderately sized room with crates and another fractured ceiling. Another archway was visible in the gloom.

Jason cough from the dust, and moved away from the collapsed masonry and stone. "Well I guess we're not leaving out that way" He wiped his mouth of the dust that had collected. "Is everyone alright?"

"Seem to be" replied Murtan. "Here's hoping we've chosen the right path"

"Wells theres nothing left of the other path" Jason tried to joke with the Bodyguard. He carefully walked forward into the room, and went to examine the closest crate to the entrance.

"We could get out that way again, it would just take time."

"How much time?" asked China. "Are we talking hours, days, weeks?"

"Hmmm... I should start leaving a runic breadcrumb trail. That way, if this place turns into a maze, we should be able to find our way back. Assuming Aliss can get us out, of course."
With that, Darius knelt down and muttered something unintelligible. A moment later, a pulse of light flowed from his hand into the shape of an arrow on the floor, pointing back towards the cave in.
"I'm not sure how long these lights will last," he said, standing up again, "but they should help us if we get lost."

"I can't be sure, preventing more cave ins as I went will slow me down, so it might take a day or more. Of course if you would rather I did it quickly, I have other means. We might even find another way out of here anyway. Unless you would like me to stay here and try and clear the way so when you come back we can just leave?"

"No, we might need you as we advance" Murtan replied. "So, I believe the verdict was to go right, right?" he added as he walked towards the junction, Aliss setting a magelight to follow him so that he could see ahead.

Jason pulled himself from the crates. Nothing of real use, but he dug a bit further. You don't keep archelogical artefacts on top in case raiders or worse come along. Obviously not an issue in this site, but Jason figured there must have been a few seasoned Archeologists.
His guess paid off, and he found a few old looking objects further in. He chose to pick up one object to slowly and carefully pull out to examine in more light. Maybe it would be of note for the acedemics among the group.

Aliss shrugged and followed Murtan, ready to take on whatever might leap out of the shadows at them.
"So, what do you think it might be? Treasure? Magickal artefacts? Maps? Treasure?" She asked Murtan sotto voice. She was getting rather exited by the idea of finding something new, or even getting into a fight.

"I'd say magical artefacts, but that'll likely be further in." Jaqson said resting against the crate he had just be looking through, still examining the object in his hand.

"Honestly, I don't know what we'll find. There could be anything down here, could be nothing, that's why we're here Aliss. To find out" Murtan replied with a slight shake of his head. He like Aliss being excited usually, she was fun to be around, but they needed her to be on task. At least while there were such obvious fractures.

Map LinkHeading through the doorway, they found themselves in another storage area - thankfully one with less ceiling damage. This time however, the crates actually appeared to be sealed properly, and there were scuff marks in the dust on the floor indicating that these crates had been moved fairly recently. Certainly within the last few days, at any rate. There was another opening in the far end of the room, beyond which lay the corner of a corridor. One direction led ahead, while the other went to the right. The light of the torches an magelights wasn't enough to illuminate where they led.

Aliss, ever curious, moved over to one of the boxes. Maybe it held treasure. Or something interesting. Or cake. Probably not cake though.
There didn't seem to be any specific lock in any way that she could see, so leaning back, she carefully tried opened the lid.

Noting the scuff marks Murtan indicated to the group to keep quiet and crept to the doorway at the far end of the room. Pressing himself against the wall he listened for any sound that might indicate company. It was unlikely, but he wasn't about to take any chances.
